Welcome to loop-a-dope – a blog about software development through the eyes of a Kenyan developer. Through this blog I hope to share my experiences in the industry. I also hope to share my ideas about various topics and more importantly, hear your thoughts about them.

My name is Gitahi Ng’ang’a, a software developer by choice and nothing especially profound by training. My experience is mainly working in the health informatics sector, on both closed and open source projects. Besides solving problems (writing code isn’t nearly as fun), I am fascinated by anything with an engine in it and enjoy taking pictures. I also take an inordinate amount of pride in my ability to juggle 3 balls, with poorly closeted ambitions to one day juggle 5.

If you find a post interesting, please like it, share it or leave a comment.
